Retainer
Your retainer fee books your session, and is non-refundable. This includes cancellations made by you, or no shows, or last minute re-schedules. Your retainer serves as a form of insurance that the session will take place as scheduled (this applies to both the date and time block). If you need to re-schedule I can transfer your retainer if the re-schedule date is within 14 days of the originally booked date (this excludes minis). I cannot always guarantee availability. It is best not to re-schedule unless absolutely necessary such as illness or injury related.
Maine Sales Tax + Fees
On top of your session price there will be an additional 5.5% Maine sales tax added to your remaining balance. There is also a 3.2% processing fee.
Payments
Retainer is always applied towards your session. Your remaining balance will include ME sales tax and fees. I accept online payments such as debit/credit card, or Venmo.
Payments are due 3-5 days prior to your session. Automatic email invoices will be sent out as reminders. A late fee will be added to your balance for each additional day it is late if you do not let me know ahead of time that you need an extension.
Turnaround
Your photos are special to you, but also to me! Because of the tedious editing process, I ask for your patience while they are being completed. I love what I do and want your photos to be done in a calming environment so they can be the absolute best quality in which you deserve. I ask you to allow about 2-5 weeks for photos to be completed. Some sessions can take longer than 5 weeks if they fall between seasons that are heavily scheduled. Time frame for turnaround is never guaranteed to be a specific time or date. Please keep in mind that I do take days off in order to pursue my personal life, and will stick to a "5 week days in a work week; no weekends" business plan when it comes to editing!

Q: How do you prefer to be contacted?
A: I am an email lover. I do respond to instagram messages and at times text, but you are always guaranteed an email response! It is much easier for us both to have our entire conversation on ONE thread to avoid confusion and miscommunications. You know those people who read messages and then forget to respond until 8 weeks later? Yeah, that's me. Email is a guarantee I promise!
Q: How long after contacting can I expect a response?
A: I do my best to answer emails within 7 days, usually sooner. There may be times I am out of office or caught up in personal life things that require more attention and it could take longer. If you do not hear from me within 7 days send another!
Q: Can I text you?
A: Please save texting to only before a session on the day of the session should there be a last minute emergency, or weather permitting cancellation.
Digital download
Your photos will be available via online web gallery for 3-7 days once the email is sent stating their availability. You have unlimited downloads during this time period. A personalized 4-digit pin will be associated with your web gallery. After 7 days your photos are removed from the web gallery. Once photos have been downloaded by you, they are your responsibility.
Weather Permitting
When bad weather strikes...don't panic! We can do our best to re-schedule. If we agree on a newly scheduled date it must fall within 14 days of the original date for any paid fees to be transferred. My availability is limited, and I cannot always guarantee availability on the same day/time of the week as scheduled. We will try to make something work for us both! Weather cancellations are typically made 2-4 hours prior to our session.
Model/Print release
By booking my services you are receiving a pricing package that ultimately agrees for your photos to be posted publicly for advertising purposes. If for any reason you do NOT want your photos publicly displayed or kept in my shareable portfolio, a private album fee will be required. ($125 per session)
Your print release is no additional cost and comes with ALL sessions. Once you receive one print release please keep it safe in order to use for future prints!
